Pumpkin Bread

This recipe has been in my family for decades. You can make it as muffins or loaves, and you can mix it up by adding chocolate chips or cream cheese frosting. However you choose to make it, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
⅔ cup water
3 ½ cups flour
4 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup vegetable oil
1 can pumpkin

Mix all ingredients in order and stir. Bake in greased and floured loaf pans at 325º F for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
