A letter to our Readers
June 2023
The Chantilly Living team has been overwhelmed and humbled by the reception our beautiful magazine has received since our launch last month! We want to take the time to thank each one of our wonderful readers for all the kind words and encouragement that you have sent so far. As always, we value your feedback. Please keep them coming!

It is the goal of Chantilly Living to continue to bring people together. With this magazine, we will continue to be absolutely and unapologetically all things Chantilly. As I’m sure you’ll agree, a huge part of what makes a community are the people! Please enjoy in these pages the intriguing story of our very own Melissa McKenna, a mover and shaker, as well as a community champion extraordinaire. Melissa gives back to the community in remarkable ways while truly embracing Chantilly. She’s been doing so for decades. Check out her story!
Also, dear readers, a very important date to keep in mind for the upcoming July issue of the magazine is June 10. Please don’t forget that June 10 is the last day that you can send in any submissions. We look forward to hearing from you. Remember, this magazine is about the people of Chantilly, for the people of Chantilly and, yes, by the people of Chantilly. What that means is we continue to be interested in exploring the hidden gems that make Chantilly unique—its people, restaurants, gardens, buildings, etcetera. Are you a writer? Have you taken an interesting trip? Do you have a notable hobby? Turn in your short stories and articles for consideration. Even if you’re not a writer but have a subject you’re passionate about, please send it to us for consideration.
We are very excited about our new Recipe Corner page. If you have recipes that you wish to share, please turn them in for future publication. Since this is a lifestyle magazine, please be sure to include photos of your dish and perhaps you, too, along with any recipe you submit.
Finally, it’s important to remember that this magazine comes to you courtesy of the local businesses whose names and logos you see in these pages. Please support them. These businesses are the heart and soul of Chantilly Living and a key reason why this beautiful magazine arrives at your door each month.
One last thought: Everyone has a story to share; let us help tell yours!
Kevin
